I like the rain. I love thunderstorms, and the raw power they possess, and the futility of man to fight when pressed with such deluges--the need only to survive, and to experience. It is the purest joy.
So Perdido Street Station is fascinating, and grows more so. Starts out slow but the Weaver oh the Weaver that creepy creature but the moths more so still.
Going to write this summer, something new something fresh based on Star Trek well no but with a foot in the genre. SF so soft it's practically rotten. Trying to build up steam for that so I can rocket out of the starting gate but who knows I might simply plod along as I do.
Star Trek Ghost Town Back to the Future Doctor Who NCIS. Watching watching reading reading got a whole list of the latter compiled for the year and adding on.
And jazz. You can blame NCIS for that. Kickstarted a want for New Orleans dixiland jazz the smooth the solid weaving a sound and a style and a thought. Need more.
I'm not entirely comprehensible and you can blame the Weaver for that too. Similar thoughtstyles well not really but I pick things up. Like a sponge. Mostly ways of speaking. A parrot maybe stylistically.
If you pretend that everyone is a stranger then you can never be disappointed.

Glad I could give you reading material. It's pretty awesome.
You need to post pics of you as Vex, okay?
I don't know if I can come.

It's $20 for the whole weekend. [link]
I'm not going back up to Flg but Heather is getting a ride to Phx with some people she knows and they're all splitting a hotel room. It usually doesn't cost much to add extra people to the room, so splitting it multiple ways is pretty cheap. Call Heather and she might be able to hook you up with her ride and what-not.... if you need her cell or are having trouble contacting her, just call me and I'll give you the number or something.
